Back in my day, there was no greater gift than a mix tape. Often you'd have to sit there listening to the radio with your finger on the REC button just hoping that the song you wanted would come on and you'd be able to capture it with minimal irritating DJ commentary. Then you'd lovingly label each track and craft together some epic cassette case artwork... and yet, despite all that, it was a simpler, happier time.
Well, good news! I'm gonna bring those simpler, happier times back to you with a monthly lovingly mixed tape!
July is a mostly upbeat combo of brand new, so old, and things that have just been on my mind/inspiring my work. So, pop it the Walkman and enjoy! (Or just click here.)

Thanks to a bestie benefactor, I'm headed to Glasgow this weekend for the TRNSMT Festival (no, I'm not sleeping in a tent with the unwashed masses) - so I'll be back next week with the full report on Radiohead, Belle & Sebastian, et al!!!!!
